Johnny Cade, a handsome, short, and quiet young man who was hated by his family was walking to the DX. He was hanging with his best friend, Ponyboy.

Johnny had just come from his house. He never stayed. His parents always abused him, and they were horrible parents, but Johnny was still and amazing kid.

He was quietly talking to Ponyboy about a movie they had just seen, after sneaking into the Nightly Double, and the pair soon pushed open the doors to the DX. Johnny almost instinctively paused at the young woman sitting at a booth, sipping on coffee.

His heart began to race, his clothes starting to feel tight and his body starting to sweat. He didn't know what it was about this woman, but he knew right then and there, that woman would soon be his.
