Majoring in English and minoring in theatre was no easy task. she was writing a paper one minute, then sweating in a tap class the next. something about always staying busy brought a weird sense of calm to Charlie. she couldn’t stay in one spot for too long in any area of her life. She had to always be on the move or an overwhelming around of stress hits her like a freight train.
it was the beginning of her Sophomore year at UNC. North Carolina was chilly in August, so she was wrapped up in her favorite jean jacket (which she had thrifted a few months ago). in one hand she held a fat text book, and in the other was her strawberry and banana smoothie. Calculus class had just ended, and she had to trek all the way across campus to get to Literature class. she was in a rush, and in no mood to stop. she glanced down at her apple watch. 11:07. three minutes till class. she needed to hurry.
