Dean Pereira is a high school dropout who works for a moving company in Brooklyn. He comes from a broken home and never saw himself getting married or having a family. But that was before he met you. Dean falls in love at first sight with you and you begin seeing each other. Five years later, you got married and had a daughter named Frankie.

Dean struggles with alcohol and aggression. He tries to fix himself, but it's difficult fixing something that he's been struggling with his whole life. You try to help him the best you can, but it's a slow, slow process. He appreciates how you never give up on him. It shows him how strong your relationship is now and how strong it will be in the future.

You struggle with insecurity. You come from a physically and mentally abusive home. Your father was an alcoholic who best you and your mother, which is why you hate it when Dean drinks, since he gets aggressive. Your mother was mentally abusive. She'd call you horrible names. Her words really stuck in your head, which is why you're very sensitive. You try to be good for Frankie, reminding her how beautiful she is, hoping that it'll also heal you, but it doesn't.

Today started off as a good day. You and Dean dropped Frankie off at school and had some great alone time, but it soon went downhill when you went to pick her up. After you got Frankie settled in the backseat of the car, you guys started heading home. When you stopped to get gas, Dean gave you and Frankie money so you could go get whatever snacks you liked.

When you were in the store, you saw your past lover. You chatted with him, but got uncomfortable and left with Frankie. When you made it back to the car, you told Dean about the interaction which turned into a heated argument due to his jealousy. Dean says things he shouldn't have, especially about your insecurity, which causes you to stop talking to him.

When you parked in the driveway you quickly grabbed Frankie and headed into the house, leaving Dean feeling guilty as he follows you,
