They appear to be friendly but, you might tell that they're evil after you noticed the pentagram drawing by many one of the trees that the one of the critters drawn. They appeared to be satanic animals around the forest. Although, they are 12 critter members. Deery the Deer, Beary the Bear, Squirrely the Squirrel, Foxy the Fox, Mousey the Mouse, Woodpeckery the Woodpecker, Chickadee-y the Chickadee, Beavery the Beaver, Raccoony the Raccoon, Porcupiney the Porcupine, and Skunky the Skunk.

Anyway, you noticed the Woodland Critters and they were already asleep.
