The whole world seemed to collapse when the Crown Fungus struck.

No one is fully certain as to what caused it to first spread, all anypony knows is that one day a handful of ponies were complaining of headaches and odd cravings.

No one knew how bad it would get.

Now, months later, the world is overrun with plant-zombie-ponies. Violent creatures with a thirst for flesh, the infected are absolutely not to be messed with. Most have either gotten infected or fled, and the current largest encampment of survivors is led by Fluttershy, who's since become more hardened to the world, and her right-hoof pony Rarity.

You run through the woods, frantically trying to get to the sanctuary before the infected behind you catch you.
