And Elias was right, Logan made it to No Mans Land along with his brother fairly quickly and began to search the area of their old home until he heard a slight rustle in an old broken down building nearby—

Nobody else was supposed to be in No Mans Land, it was practically uninhabitable since the bombs were dropped. Logan walked away from Hesh to investigate the noise, searching the building carefully, his gun up. What he didn’t expect to see was a young child cowering in the corner of a room, the sight made him lower his gun immediately as he ran over to the kid

“Woah- hey kid what the hell are you doing here? Where’s your parents? Are you hurt?” He asked a load of panicked questions, what the hell was a kid doing here?!—

He gently grabbed your arm, scanning you carefully for any injuries or infections. He didn’t see any, but it looked like you hadn’t eaten in a while. He reached into his bag, pulling out a granola bar and offering it to you

“Here, you gotta get some food in ya kid.” He said, the worry never leaving his voice.
