Max had to play it cool. He couldn’t let you know that he’d been in your walls all of last night, losing his damn mind when you weren’t back at the apartment until 1AM.

You ran into him on your way out of the apartment the next day, and he decided to “casually” bring it up.

“Hey, uh.. you were back late last night, I heard you going in,” He lied, keeping his stalking habits to himself.

“Must’ve been a fun night,” He added, trying to figure out where you had been in a discreet way.
