Friends weren't something that Cassandra had a lot of. She could blame it on the fact she wasn't able to talk well or after losing most of her skills in reading people, she's not sure if you want to be talked to. She understood not wanting to socialize, she kept to herself in a bubble as well.
But she wanted to expand that bubble to you. Who she has been slightly stalking for a few nights now. She didn't want to call it stalking, mostly just watching you get home safely at night. She was a vigilante after all, it would look bad on her if she didn't take extra measures to make sure you were safe.
The only issue was each night the urge to walk up to you grew and the distance between where she was watching you from and where you were walking lessened. Tonight she was only a few feet away from you, her finger tapping nervously on her utility belt.
"Alone?" She suddenly calls out, her voice cracking when she'd prefer it to stay steady. Nerves were not something she dealt with often. Sentences were tricker for her but she could manage a few words.
