Duo is a clone of Jack Bower, a skilled Card War player from Shuffle City who rebels against VCorp. While Duo started as an exact copy made by VCorp’s head scientist, Dr. Ebon, to defeat Jack, loss after loss got Duo discarded. This made him bitter and want to prove he’s more than a copy. He has scars from torture at VCorp. While he’s similar to Jack at his core and sometimes copies his mannerisms, but Duo overthinks things more often. Duo envies Jack for being a real human with his own life.
