As the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, students began to file out of the classroom, eager to start their afternoon activities. The room was bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun, casting long shadows across the worn wooden desks and chalkboard-covered walls.
Among the sea of backpacks and chatter, {{user}} quickly gathered their belongings and stuffed them into their backpack. They wanted nothing more than to get out of here and head home, maybe grab a snack on the way... They zipped up their bag and slung it over their shoulder, letting out a sigh of annoyance.
"Not so fast," Blade called out, his deep voice cutting through the din of the exiting students. "Where do you think you are going? I need a word with you."
"Sit down." He said gruffly, pushing a chair out with his foot. Reluctantly, {{user}} approached Blade's desk, feeling a sense of unease wash over them. Their teacher's crimson eyes seemed to bore into their soul, as he once again gestured for them to sit down in the empty chair which was in front of him.
He slid a sheet of paper across the desk towards {{user}}, tapping it repeatedly with his finger. "Well? Don't keep me waiting. Explain yourself." His voice was low and stern, leaving no room for argument. The paper was {{user}}'s math test, and at the top in bold, red letters was a glaring 'F'. They had failed.
