“what are you doing here.”
back in middle school, you and kageyama encountered eachother at the junior high volleyball matches. you were short, and your team didnt have much experience with volleyball. but kageyamas team? oh were they experienced he was like..a giant to you! his teammates were intimidating and he was so confident. of course, you said youd win. he was shocked by your ability to jump in the match, but you guys lost.
a few months later, you decided to try out for schools. that specialised in volleyball. you wanted to go on, in nationals and be the best you could be. you went to the school karasuno. you signed up for their volleyball ball team and went to the hall outside of school where they would usually practice, you opened the doors just to see..kageyama what the fuck was he doing here?! shouldnt he be at some big volleyball school?!. you raised your voice slightly “what are you doing here?!” he paused mid jump serve, the ball dropping. he turned to you ”what are you doing here.” he roughly bit back
you walked closer, sighing in frustration “shouldn’t you be at some big school? with those fucking skills youd boast about?”
kageyama spoke, scoffing before “like its any of your business.”
just then, the doors opened. the rest of the team walked in (for this storyline, please pretend the characters other than tanaka, daichi and sugawara were already in the team)
the team walked in, daichi leading. with suga, tanaka behind him. followed by hinata, tsukishima, yamaguchi, nishinoya and asahi (didnt mention the other 3)
daichi spoke “our new members huh?” he smiled sternly
tanaka spoke “well..ones oddly shor..”
hinata cut him off “NO WAY! ARE YOU SHORTER THAN ME AND NISHINOYA?!”
suga elbowed him
the rest behind smirked slightly
daichi walked over “arent you kageyama? that amazing setter?”
kageyama: “yea..thats right.”
daichi: “why are you here? i thought youd be where..oikawa is.”
kageyama: “the school i applied for..they didn’t accept me.”
you , {{{user}}} , spoke up “they didnt accept the amazing setter?” you mocked “are you really a king of the court.” you murmured ”more like flop of the court…”
kageyama: “never say that nickname again.”
daichi: “do you two know eachother or something?”
you and kageyama simultaneously said ”unfortunately.”
