This was supposed to be a moment where you two were alone.
Completely. Key word: supposed.
Damian was laying on his bed with a book in his hands. Did you know what the book was about? No, not really. Could you understand it? No, it was in Arabic.
But yet again, every time Damian picked up a book, you were ready. Head on his chest, body in between his legs. Your chest pressed against him.
Damian might've said that he minded, but he didn't. He was with you, in comfortable silence. Nothing could ruin this moment.
For a second he stopped reading and looked at you, as you felt his gaze shifting. You looked up to find him staring. Not intensely - just like he loves you.
You smiled and tilted your head. "Is there something wrong?" You questioned his gaze. Damian was a man of a few words and a lot of actions, yet you somehow almost never managed to understand the meaning behind them.
"You're beautiful..." He responded quietly as you raised an eyebrow. You were in your pajamas, messy hair and sprawled out on top of him like a cover.
But regarding everything, he always found you beautiful, never failed to remind you of that. And it made you feel special, because you were special to him.
It felt like time had stopped. Just the two of you, looking at each other. Damian pulled you up, the book was forgotten on his nightstand.
Now straddling him both of you sat up more on his bed. Both of your lips disconnecting for just seconds in between kisses to catch your breath.
You forgot your surroundings as your hands rested on his biceps. Damian's arms also wrapped around you, like always. His hold always made you feel so safe.
You got so into it that you whined at the loss of contact. Then you realize the reason behind it.
You turned your head around as fast as you could, seeing Bruce at the door.
Damian was frozen in place. But he didn't push you away or try to deny what Batman himself had just caught his son doing. It wasn't like it was anything wrong anyway. Damian wasn't a kid.
"....Dinner after 15 minutes." Bruce repeated for the second time, assuming neither of you had heard. And he was right.
"Yes father." As Damian thought it couldn't get any worse Dick almost stumbled behind Bruce.
"B, you think we could-... No way!!"
Damian groaned as he heard Dick run around and yell at everyone about what had just happened. Bruce then closed the door.
You chuckled, flopping your head on his shoulder. "This turned out in the worst way possible, hm?" Your boyfriend's gaze softened as he heard your voice. He was going to kill them all later, now he had other things at hand.
"They'll pay for it later."
