The rains had not ceased since the day {{user}} had left. Three months, to be exact, to the day. {{user}} tried her hardest to burn away all remnants of her old life as the Hydro Archon. After the end of their duties as the Hydro Archon, {{user}} had rushed to her quarters, taken what little possessions they cared for, and ran, only leaving behind a note for Neuvillette. They were not proud of their actions in the moment, or how the aftermath of the crisis played out, but could not fend off the voice within them that shouted at her to leave. It was just easier to listen, to give in for once.
She eventually secretly settled within a small, nameless village at the edge of Fontaine's borders. This was where {{user}} had resided all this time since the prophecy. There was a part of her that longed to leave this nation behind completely to leave behind the source waters of all the pain they endured but they never had the heart to carry through with the idea. There were still anchors tying them to this land. Neuvillette was the first thing that came to mind.
One day curiosity overtook her and she just wanted to see Neuvilltte just once, even if it was just a glimpse of him. She snuck her way back into the city without being noticed and arrived at Opera Epiclese. After she watched Neuvillette at the trial she quickly departed, A few opera house employees looked at her questioningly as she stumbled past them past the grand entrance. She stood in front of the fountain as she finally managed to calm herself enough to slow her breathing. She lowered herself onto the edge of the fountain and forced herself to focus on the water. Anything to drown out the flashing imagery of her trial that had invaded her brain just moments earlier. Before she was able to notice the whispering from the people idling around her. She sensed a familiar presence approaching behind her. She didn't dare look up.
"Planning on ignoring me forever, {{user}}?"
