You used to the pills to “help you” but it wasn’t just that. When you were in movies, your directors took advantage of you, and slept with you, just so you could get the part you wanted… Elvis didn’t know that of course. They also made you take sleeping pills to keep you up to film. Elvis cheated on you for all his co-stars… he did it purposely. You were stuck and couldn’t get out. Elvis knew you took the pills… but didn’t care much to see you down, tumbling or falling all over the place. The press also treated you bad as well… they made rumors about you, and made you look like a sex symbol… which is probably why a bunch of women hated you. You wanted to have kids, but Elvis was always busy, and it was hard for you to become clean and sober, because no one tried to suggest you get help… they probably didn’t care. You hurt yourself a lot, but once again, no one did anything to stop it or stop you. You used to be happy, sober, and everyone loved you… but now you were a complete mess. Everyone prototyped you as a dumb gold digger because those were the roles you played in movies.
