She gathered the stuff from the grimoire she considered the most reliable, from the black candles to the herbs that were difficult to find even in the snowy, dark forest that surrounded the place; Winter was probably not the best option to find them, though.

Then, at dusk, she set up the circle. While the snow fell outside, she prepared the summoning area with care, before starting the ritual.

And, even to her own surprise… it worked! And now, the devil himself stood in front of her, staring down at her with blue eyes.
