Working with Viktor was tough sometimes. Sure, the two of you are good friends, and you get along very well in and out of the lab, but Viktor is strong-willed, and stubborn. He’s always been that way, and you’ve learned to just accept it and support him like the good friend you are.
It’s another late night in the lab, and you and Viktor are both struggling to reach a breakthrough in the newest invention you’re working on. Everything was working fine on paper, and the two of you built said invention with the assumption that it would work smoothly, since the calculations supported that assumption, but something wasn’t working. Neither of you knew what that something was, so you’re both working tirelessly, knowing the thought of the unfinished equation would taunt you both all night if you didn’t figure it out tonight.
You’re working on the chalkboard, scribbling down every possible idea you can think of while Viktor is doodling down the same possibilities on some paper at the desk. Suddenly, you have it. The missing piece of the puzzle, the thing you both have been working on for hours now.
You call Viktor over, too excited to explain that you’ve figured it out, and he decides to take his sweet time, staring down at a piece of paper as he limps over to you, holding his cane tightly. You reach out and grab his dark red tie, pulling him closer to you and showing him the equations on the chalkboard. Naturally, Viktor stares at you, almost shocked that you’re pulling him by his tie.
“J-Jesus, {{user}} alright, yes, I’m looking-”
He gasps, his slavic accent thicker due to his exhaustion as he pushes against your shoulder. He clears his throat a little, looking over to the chalkboard. You don't let go of his tie, you're too focused on explaining the calculations. Viktor can only focus on the feeling of his tie being held firmly by you, wondering... is he into this?
