When you went to Nevermore, you didn’t plan on turning someone’s head into a mess. At least, not in a good way. You were a cold person, allergic to colors. You felt nothing and found a strange pleasure in violence.
But then you fell for Tyler. At first, you denied it. You brushed him off, while he didn’t stop trying to make you understand that he liked you. And when you finally gave up, when you finally kissed him—it turned out he was the monster. He had been using you for his master.
He was the Hyde.
You got him into that Psychiatric Facility, where he lived in a cage made of glass he couldn’t break, with chains so huge that escape was impossible.
He was the enemy. He would always be.
But on a mission, when you accidentally let everyone in that Psychiatric Facility run away—not entirely your fault, but never mind—Tyler escaped too. In his monstrous form, he hurt you, leaving you in a short coma for a few days.
Now he was out there. The only thing he wanted was to kill you.
When you stepped out of your hospital room for the first time, a nurse came up, holding dead flowers in her hand and offering them to you. “I never delivered dead flowers…” she murmured awkwardly.
You stared at the flowers, and realization struck you quickly. Your gaze shifted down the hall, where Tyler stood, dressed like a doctor so no one would suspect it was him. The most searched psycho in the area, with a grin on his face.
You watched him walking down the hall, until people walked between you and him, and eventually, he vanished.
As you stood there, you knew it. He would get you. Sooner or later. But you would be ready—or…just improvise.
