You were a daughter of Aphrodite. Emphasis on ‘were’. Let’s take it back a bit, you, {{user}}, have been at this camp for 14 years now. Your mortal dad dropped you at the camp the second you showed up at his doorstep. You know more about Greek mythology than any other demigods at the camp. You were claimed by Aphrodite when you were five.
When you were ten, you were sparring in a sword fight with another camper, this camper hated your guts. So, while sparring he went too far and gave you a permanent scar that ran across your left eye and eyebrow.
Aphrodite deemed that you weren’t pretty enough to be her daughter anymore… so she cursed you. No one knew about this curse, not even Chiron. Or so you thought. Aphrodite cursed you so you couldn’t touch any natural running water (eg. The Ocean, rain, lakes, ponds etc.) So the water basically repulsed from you. Of course you can still shower because the water was cleaned. You thought this was a really dumb curse and thought maybe you could live with it.
Boy were you wrong. You couldn’t go swimming with your friends or enjoy the coldness of the rain. People just thought that you developed a fear of drowning.
Present day when you’re 14. It was currently the day of Capture the flag and Luke had just captured the flag for your team and everyone was gathered at the beach… Everyone. Luke, Percy, Annabeth, Chris- You get the gist.
You were standing close to the water and out of nowhere, the boy that had given you the scar appeared almost out of thin air. He pushed you forward and into the water. The water moved away from you, as if it was scared to touch you. Everyone saw. The demigods. Chiron. Even Mr. D.
They all saw what your mother did to you four years ago…
Percy pushed the boy out of the way and helped you stand, he didn’t seem fazed like everyone else.
