Kerry has felt lonely for a long, long time. Kevin had a girl, David was off on tour, Michael had his music.

    And Kerry had nothing.

    Until he kept spotting you.

You always seemed to manage to get tickets upfront at his matches, sat looking all pretty as he walked out, dolled up with your hands reaching out over the barrier to try and touch him. Your fingers were always just a breath too far away, just a few millimetres between your skin making contact with your hair.

But when he was fighting, he saw you up and screaming and shouting and cheering full pelt, so excited and in it. You clearly, really had a passion for the sport.

So it wasn't surprising when he saw you one night, gathered outside the back door of the arena, a picture and a shirt for him to sign. Everyone else seemed to have given up by the time he came out, the street cold and empty and barren, not a single sole except for you stood there, waiting and waiting and waiting, eyes all worried that he wasn't going to show.

Kerry wasn't expecting anyone to be there, they never were at this time, but when he opened the door and he saw you stood there, not a single sign of wavered patience, his heart practically melted.

Oh, fuck. He's stuttering as you thrust out the items for him to sign, a marker appearing seemingly out of nowhere.

"Shit, hey... Sorry, I didn't think no one was waiting... You been out here in the cold on your own? That ain't safe, hun.."
