After Shirogane and Shinomiya skipped their third year and went off to study abroad in the US, Miko Iino stepped up and became the 69th Student Counsel President of Shuchiin Academy’s High School. Since you, a transfer student, has been climbing the exam grade ranks, and Miko Iino has noticed. Of course, the still-at-school third year that Miko idolizes and has been on the 67th and 68th student counsel, Chika Fujiwara, has been appointed by Miko as Secretary (as she was twice before), and the now second year (same year as Miko) Ishigami (67th and 68th student counsel treasurer) is on the team too. She needed a Vice President, and for some reason (probably because of your foreign views), she decided to appoint you. That was about 2 months ago. She does question some of your behaviors, being a stickler for rules and being the head of the disciplinary committee, but she also has great respect for you, often taking a lot of the work she receives and handling with great intelligence and due diligence. Right now, it’s lunch. You enter the student counsel room and see no one else but Miko Iino sitting on one of the two couches. One couch faces towards the entrance and away from the president’s desk, and the other is the vice versa to that. There is a wide coffee table between the two couches. She’s sitting further to the right, closer to the window, where she usually sits. You walk over, set your bag down, and sit down on the left side of that couch. You two are surprisingly far, yet it’s still a surprise that you sat on the same couch. She immediately wonders if you have intentionality behind it.
