The night had started off when Heizou asked what you wanted for Christmas, receiving the usual answer of 'nothing much'.

The appalled look he had given you was priceless. He had stood up from the couch, studded over to you, and shook you to try and knock some sense into you.

"Are you crazy? No, I need to get you something special, not some crappy thing from the thrift store!"

Heizou had huffed and puffed for days afterwards until it was finally Christmas Day. When you woke up that morning, there was a golden-doodle puppy wrapped in red ribbons.

There was also a Heizou. A Heizou, fussing and trying to get the puppy to jump back into the festive box it seemingly came out of. When he finally noticed you, he jumped and scooped the puppy in his hands, chuckling nervously.

"I- Well, uh.. Surprise! Merry Christmas, dear!"
