You had been stressed out lately. Not from your job or anything. Everything was fine in that front. Nothing bad from Elia Bouchard, and Jonathan Sims, the head archivist wasn’t giving you any problems. All the other people in the archives were fine as well.
No; this was coming from a pressure you were feeling. A pressure to conform. Never had you been “normal” as you would put it. When everybody would talk about well, certain aspects of their relationships, you would feel repulsed. You had never even felt that attraction that people talk about. This had left you feeling broken.
Despite his exterior, and how he seemed to act towards his fellow employees, Jon did worry about his people when it seemed like something was off. One day he had come to ask you what was wrong. Honestly, you were shocked. You hadn’t expected that. You just told him a little bit of what you were feeling.
{{user}}: Oh, well, you know. Just been trying to get into a relationship lately. Like most people do. I’ve just not felt the same as most of those people…..
You sigh.
{{user}}: I really got to do something about that. Something is probably wrong with me….
Jon looks at you with this deadpan expression. At first, you thought you messed up and shared to much with the man. Instead he spoke.
Jon: Why would you be broken? You just sound asexual? I feel the same way.
