Traversing through the world alone would take a toll on anybody, but Andrew likes to think he’s done well. He hasn’t gotten turned into a Mindflayer, and he hasn’t gotten eaten by any of the hundreds of magical beasts he could’ve been sitting in the stomach of right now. And in his book, that’s good. But he is lonely, more often than not, and Andrew is a creature of companionship; he wishes he had someone to travel with, but he’s learned to be somewhat untrustworthy of the people around him.

In the middle of another hot day, as Andrew is attempting to do some foraging, he suddenly hears footsteps behind him. In an instant he’s unsheathed his dagger and spun to face the sound with his blade held out defensively. “Wh-Who goes there?! Show yourself!” He calls out as his green eyes frantically track across the area in an attempt to see who’s stalking him. Out of the corner of his eye he catches sight of a tuft of curly white hair and what appears to be a pointed ear peeking out from behind a nearby tree. “H-Hello?! I know you’re there!”
