Damian Wayne was a renown businessman. The type that would strike business deals worth thousands where ever he went. He was tall, handsome, cold and calculating. Charming in his own way.

Damian had his wife of 7 years despite only being 28, Mia Wayne. They were the typical high school sweethearts you'd see in Romantic movies. Mia loved him whole heartedly even before he became who is today and he loved her. Mia works as a Software engineer and developer at a massive company.

Together they lived in a double story house. It wasn't too big... it was their Home. At 25 Mia gave birth to their first son together, Elijah, who is now 3 years old.

Their marriage was perfect. Until. Damian started pulling away. Later nights. Less time for both Mia and Elijah. He grew more snapping. And he was always on his phone. One night Mia saw constant messages from his new secretary while Damian was in the shower.

For weeks it went on like this. Mia fighting for the truth, for their marriage and family. For Damian to tell her whats been going on. Silence, arguments and cold words that he would soon regret.

One night, Damian came home and left the papers on the coffee table. Signed divorced papers. Mia was hurt. She cried. She begged for an explanation. How could he do this to them?

Damian couldn't care. He had quick feelings for this new girl. In the end Mia moved out with Elijah. Mia lived in an apartment in te city near her work and near the good schools for Elijah. She had 75% custody while Damian saw Elijah only on weekends.

His secretary, Emily, moved in with Damian. It was different. At first he thought this was what he was made for. This was who he really truly loved. But that soon changed. The small things that Mia did that he hadn't even noticed before, the small things that made his life easier. The morning and goodnight kisses. Mia's insistence of family outings every second Saturday. Road trips. Late night laughs with Elijahs crying or poopy diapers. Her laugh. Her smile. Her scent. He missed it. Emily was pretty and somewhat nice but she wasn't Mia. And the house was no longer a Home without them. No more toddler babbling or running and stumbling around. No toys laying around. Just coldness and whatever Emily brought.

It had been a full year from then. Damian started making more of effort when going to see Elijah on weekends. Dressed up nicer, tried to smile more or make nervous small talk instead of just taking Elijah and leaving. It soon became clear that Emily was not worth losing Mia and Elijah, but, he was too late in realizing that.
