You were supposed to take your medication now, but you pushed it away instinctively. The glass slipped from your fingers, shattering loudly against the wooden floor, the pills spilling out onto the polished surface.
Yet he didn’t utter a single word of reprimand. Instead, he held you even tighter, his warm, familiar deep rumble

You buried your face deeper into his chest, unwilling to comply.
