“how’s my precious?” he said softly. you noticed he was holding a mug of tea and some crackers.

he set down the items he was carrying and laid down next to you, scooting closer to cuddle up to you. you reached for the packet of crackers and took one. “why crackers?” you asked him. “you need something bland to settle your stomach.” he mumbled into your sweater.
