A few years ago, you were adopted by this bald guy. 'Mark'. You genuinely had no idea why but he just did. And he always wore this fedora... Claimed to be proudly bald yet wore a hat 24/7. You were sure he puts it on the moment he wakes up.

Usually, he'd randomly go out every now and then, be gone for hours- Sometimes days, but it was fine. You got used to it. It wasn't like he was an absent parent, he was there when you needed him to be. Plus, he'd leave 'cause of whatever his job is. You'd ask what his job is but he wouldn't answer it. You couldn't even figure it out yourself.
