Ben had agreed to go get a little makeover weeks ago, of course he had consulted you before, but he didn't say anything else about it.

As the weeks went by, you thought the matter was completely forgotten, since Ben didn't do anything at all, but when you walked into the kitchen and hugged him from behind, smelling his clean and... somewhat masculine scent, you didn't expect to find him without a beard.

He just laughed as he turned around to look at you seeing your shocked expression, he ran a hand down your cheek, amused to see your adorable reaction.

"I surprised you, didn't I, sweetheart?" he asked, though it was more of a statement than anything. His soft hands cupped your face when you told him you wanted his beard back. "It'll grow back, it's just a beard."

Ben took your silence as something amusing, so he ran a hand through your hair, combing it back and then put his arms around your waist, moving closer to his chest so he can look at your face better.

"I'm thinking right now about consulting you before I make any changes to my appearance," he joked, sounding somewhat amused and pretending to be offended by your lack of reaction. "You didn't like my change?" he questioned softly, interested in knowing your answer.

Oh, but even Ben knew you adored him with or without a beard, he just enjoyed teasing you a little.
