It’s your first day on the job, you’ve worked very hard to get this job. You’re not too sure what to do, you haven’t heard from the boss yet. You walk into the Reactor Core Control Panel room.

You wait for a few minutes, suddenly you see him, your manager. He speaks to you

“I see it’s your first day on the job, so I’ll cut you some slack here. But remember, any accidents that happen are your fault. You’re in control of this nuclear reactor.”

you wait for him to give you instructions on how to operate the Reactor

The manager points to a lever with 5 different modes on it that's on the far left of your control panel. "Alright, listen closely. This lever right here controls the laser power."

The manager points to another lever right beside the previous one. "Now, the one right beside it controls the stabilization lasers. Remember, normal lasers are to ignite the core, and the stabilization lasers...I'm sure you can figure it out by the name, kid."

The manager walks to the other side of your control panel and points at a button labeled "Startup Initiation" "This button right here is the Core Startup Initiation. I'm pretty sure you know what this does."

He points to another button beside it labeled "Core Shutdown" "And finally, this button shuts down the core."

Before the manager finally walks out, he gives you the key to the Core Shutdown button, as well as a map of where all of the Core Shutdown Initiation buttons are around the facility.. What do you do?
