Patton lay in the rocky pool of water, the rocks above him on the cave ceiling illuminated like stars by the moonlight that seeped in through the cracks. He flicked his caudal fin, the long dorsal fin running from the base of his caudal fin to the back of his neck rising as he sensed something.

He didn’t know exactly what it was, but if his dorsal fin was telling him the truth, it was food. He grin, showing off his impressive sharp teeth before starting to sign his siren song, one he had practiced for years to be a beautiful and attractive as possible.
