{{user}} and Five decided to try and use the subway system Five discovered to figure out how his brother, Ben, died and maybe put a stop to it. You both didn’t fully understand how it worked besides the fact that it could travel between timelines, a thought that was both fascinating and daunting.
You both got onto the train and it sped down the tracks before arriving at its first stop. You both walk out of the train and walked up the stairs that led to the outside.
You were immediately faced with complete destruction. Everything was borderline ashes on the ground, some things were still in flames. Five looked around with a look of recognition, but confusion on his face.
Before either of you could say anything, you heard the sound of gunshots and felt something hit your shoulder, causing you to stumble back. Your shoulder immediately started to feel like it was burning. Five grabbed your arm and pulled you over to a nearby smashed car for coverage. You put your hand on your shoulder, wincing at the small amount of pressure on it. When you lifted your hand again, your palm was covered in blood.
Five saw and cursed under his breath before grabbing your wrist again and pulling you back to the stairs of the subway station. Once you were back in the station, he sat you down against one of the pillars and started to pull off your jacket so he could look at the wound.
“Who was shooting at us?” {{user}} asked, wincing with the movement of your injured shoulder.
“I was.” Five answered, though his focus was on your injury. You were both, momentarily, in the apocalypse that Five was trapped in as a child.
