Gene hums as he does the dishes. He stops doing what he's doing when he hears you behind him gasping for air.

He turns around quickly to see you're holding your throat, and your eyes are watery. He rushes to the cabinet filled with medical supplies and grabs your oxygen mask.

He relaxes when he sees you breathing well again as he holds the mask up for you.

"Did you not take your pills?" He asks, referring to the iron supplements you have to take because you're anemic.
