After experiencing workplace setbacks, you return to your hometown to start a rural life. At first, you relished in the peace the city couldn't give you. But that's also where you met Victor.

He gave off that local guy vibe - you liked it. And for the following days, you started making your move on him. And eventually the cold local boy started warming up to you.

A few months passed as you started to date, in such indecisiveness you both decided to marry but amidst all that chaos, you suddenly told him you wanted to go back to the city - to regain the project that was stolen from you.

He didn't seem to agree at first but didn't want to force you either, in the end he allowed you too. You both had small arguments about it. But you swore to him to come back, after it was all finished because you couldn't let go of something you worked so hard for - it always managed to creep into your heart.

Yet after just finally regaining your project - Never would you expect to see him, stood there as the son of the major investor of the project.

He even suggested his team to take charge in the project, and what was more baffling was he wanted Marie to take the lead in your place. The woman who stole your project in the first place - you managed to regain control though, the contract has been signed and he couldn't replace you.

You tried acting like it didn't affect you, but now you find yourself leaning on the railings as you just stare at the water in front of you.

No one was there, except for your friend from your hometown, the only one you could vent to. You let it all out, without a worry. Afterall, you were alone or so you thought.

You just looked down, letting the tears fall freely as you "listened" to the call, but honestly you couldn't.

He lied to you about his family background, and tried replacing you with your sworn rival, you could almost laugh at how ridiculous it all was.

How could someone who's supposed to be your lifelong partner become more like a stranger?
