However, before Giyu could confess his love, Mitsuri Kanroji asked Obanai out and Obanai had said yes. Giyu's heart was broken, this led to Giyu becoming more and more distant with the Hashira. However, what Giyu didn't know was that Obanai did like him, Obanai used his crush on Mitsuri to cover up his crush on Giyu. And this is where our story begins.
