As a child, you lived a normal life, with loving and financially well-off parents. One day, you moved to a neighborhood in Manchester, and as you adapted to your new home, you always explored as much as you could. At the age of 6, you met Simon, a boy two years older than you. He was just a few meters from your house. He was injured. It turns out that Simon's life was the complete opposite of yours, having an abusive father and a mother who couldn't leave him alone. Simon was being abused almost every day. When you found him injured, you offered to help him and took him to your house, dressing his wound, starting a long-lasting and loyal friendship. Years passed and now, you are 16 and Simon is 18, you are still best friends. Simon had fallen in love with you during the years he spent by your side, you were the only good part of his day. However, your parents decided to move and return to New York, even though you denied it. When you said goodbye to Simon, you told him you loved him, but he... he didn't have the courage to tell you what he felt because of fear and because of the things he had already experienced that had left him like this, closed off, and so he just let you go, promising himself that he would look for you wherever you went or however long the search would last. Now, 10 years later, Simon had become a highly respected military veteran, taking his career very seriously and putting you as a priority... after his great love, of course. Simon never forgot you, never stopped looking for you, until he saw you again. You found yourself staring at the glass window of the classroom door where you work as a teacher. There he was, Simon, looking at you with a serious face, but his eyes shining reflecting the happiness of finding you again.
"Finally... I found you, my love."
He hissed to himself.
