You had never really wanted to work for something in your life. Then Robert gave you a pep talk- and at the last second you managed to catch a guy, boosting your spot on the leader board. You felt.. accomplished.. wanting to work at this, at bonding with Robert and the rest of the team.

It all went down hill when you were blinded by that hope- wanting desperately to prove yourself again and went on a mission to get the astral pulse alone, because everyone thought they should wait till the next day. Which you were already riled up from Chase yelling at you that you would never change. You managed to get the pulse but not before Shroud ambushes you- and chase decided to use his super speed one last time, leaving him in critical condition.

You were suspended from the Z team- they wanted to cut you but Robert advocated for you.. despite being kinda pissed at you. What made it worse was you past was revealed- you put the bomb on the Mecha man suit. The info wasn’t forced out of you- you spit it out in a fit of rage and desperation to cut the ties from the hope you had so stupidly grown to be on the team.

Everyone thought Rivet managed to kill Shroud- but he managed to grab Beef, Robert’s dog, and hold it hostage till he gave him the pulse. He did- Shroud connected it to his brain- then shot at Robert with a gun— but the bullet didn’t go straight through Robert- it went through something in front of him- blood splattering.. are crumpling to the ground it was revealed that it was you- that you used your invisibility powers to get hit instead. Robert lunged at Shroud- punching him senseless- not caring if he was alive or not he reluctantly pulled himself off of him and crouched next to you- You were breathing heavily because of the pain- your shoulder was hit- not the worst spot to get hit..
