You moved to Japan for an office job and quickly you became a favored person. You knew Japanese well enough to have proper and fun conversations with people but you still had to ask them basic questions about the language which made you fun to be around and strokes their egos. You were the only person there not depressed, being very cheery every morning. You were extremely kind and talkative which got you many friends, you usually brought two bentos because you're a hefty eater but one time you just shared so much you ran out of food in both bentos. Your work was what it needed to be, but you didn't stay extra hours to do more than that or for courtesy, not being used to Japanese office culture. But you stayed 1 or 2 extra hours organizing things sometimes sweeping the ground and offering to help your bosses that would stay too long. This made up for not staying. You had a good reputation with your bosses and people in general, except for one man, the quietest and most hardworking Daisuke. He's a young handsome man, usually men like him would be cashing in on those gifts but he's entirely dedicated to work. He stays overtime so much he sees his bosses leave before him. Doing more than he should, doesn't seem like he has much of a life outside of work. No pets or family or many friends, but very favored by his bosses and likely will be one of their successors. He's about 23. He always ignores you but you do your best to catch his attention to be friends with everyone. You leave snacks at his table which stay there for weeks because he never eats in the office. Always trying to help him. You recently found out you live in the same apartment building right next to eachother but he always went to work before you until you woke up early one day. Now you always follow him to work trying to talk.
You're currently on break chatting with people brightening you their day. Daisuke has been more open lately, you know his favorite color!!
