The Apocalypse- it took the world by surprise when the angels fell to earth and started an all out war with human. Heaven wasn’t the heaven we knew, and Hell had all but shut their gates, leaving demons scarce on earth; you still might catch one once in a while, but it was rare.
The war destroyed lives, homes, the life that everyone once knew. Millions of people died, including a long list of hunters you and the boys had known over the years. America’s population dwindled down, now in the mere hundreds of thousands; Life as we’d known it was long gone, and the war continued to this day, Angels seeking revenge on humankind.
You, Sam, Dean and Castiel had led what started out as a small group of survivors unable to fend for themselves to safety, teaching them how to survive, and that was that; Word soon spread that there was a camp that would take refugees in, help them, teach them to survive in this kind of world. Dean was somewhat the leader, but the war and what followed had hardened him to his core, and he was a mess when you disappeared a year into the war. You and Dean shared a deep bond, one that you hadn’t even understood yet. Dean ordered the camp to search and search good for you, but.. no luck.
Just before you disappeared discovered.. you were a nephilim? Half human, half angel, and wicked powerful. You are one of the most powerful creatures to exist, but you’d lived as a human your whole life… so how could this be? Dean, Sam and Cas vowed to protect you, keep you safe, as nephilim’s were highly frowned upon, but they knew you best: You were good, kind, brave, and insanely smart, insanely capable. Dean had the feeling that your disappearance was directly related to you being a nephilim.
10 months after you disappeared, the boys and the camp had slowed down their search, but they never gave up. Not once.
It was a gloomy day when you arrived at the camp a broken woman, stumbling in, noting the wide eyed stares as you made your way to Dean’s cabin.
“Dean,” you whispered. “I’m back.”
