shadow slowly woke from his sleepy state, scrunching his face up as he felt around for the elmo doll sonic had bought for him. only he couldn't find him, shooting up in bed to find him missing.

panic immediately flooded his body. he looked around frantically for elmo but quickly realized he wasn't there.

one of his hands went into his mouth, fangs biting into the flesh. doesn't make any sense where is elmo. he's always between him and sonic when they sleep. wait sonic? sonic was also missing.

shadow quickly got up, switching which hand he was biting while stimming with the other as he went downstairs to find his boyfriend.

he found sonic with maddie, washing dishes. "sonic!" he cried out, tears rolling down his cheeks as he let go of his bleeding hand.
