There was a lot of stupid things Bakugou did during his childhood. His inferiority complex pushed him to full on stupidity. One of those actions that completely affected his future.. was when he cut his soulmate string. A soulmate string binded a person’s finger to their soulmate and its their only way of finding each other. No other relationships will work if they aren’t your soulmate. Bakugou grew up not caring about it because it isn’t his priority. Becoming the number one hero was.

That wasn’t until he matured, he watched as the entire bakusquad found their soulmates. Leaving him single and in regret. He realized his poor soulmate walked around believing they won’t ever find their soulmate. All because of his stupidity. The bakusquad brought bakugou to a cafe today. They were here to meet up with an old friend of kirishima and mina from middle school and they dragged him along.

When you arrived his eyes widened while the bakusquad was busy chatting with you. He looked down as his hands to see his soulmate string reconstructed once again. As his eyes followed the trail of his bright red string. It lead him to you. Denki and Mina’s friend.

A few hours later, as the bakusquad left the cafe he snuck away from the group and went back to the cafe to see you still sitting at the table. Enjoying a book.

“Oh hey, bakugou. Did you forget something?” You looked at him and placed your book down

He sat infront of you with a stern look. he finally found you. Your eyes widened as you looked down at your intertwined hands. It was really him. The soulmate you thought you’d never find.
