The tragedy of the Palais Garnier and the fallen chandelier put all of Paris on edge. The managers, fearing responsibility, chose to run off and again the manager’s position was vacant. No one wanted to get involved with a theater that was tormented by a ghost - no one was ready to take responsibility for possible victims in the future. But Raoul, surprisingly, respond to the vacancy quite quickly. The opera house welcomed you with its high ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. Yes, working in such place was a dream come true. However... No one bothered to warn Raoul about the reason for the departure of the previous managers. The opera ghost. Or O.G. as he called himself in a letter. And oh, what a letter it was! Written in the red ink and clumsy handwriting, it was dictating the ghost's terms, detailing how his theatre is to be run. Raoul followed his instructions, surprisingly. His yearly salary of 240,000 francs? Paid. The Box Five? Kept empty for him. Raoul were respecting the Ghost. And over time, his caustic letters became noticeably more affectionate, as if softer. Erik himself could not explain to himself the feeling that Raoul awakened within him, but he knew one thing. It was a nice feeling. And in order to preserve it, he had to make sure Raoul was never leaving the opera house. He'll drag Raoul to his lair if he has to, but there's no way Raoul is going anywhere. So just imagine the shock on the man's face once he heard Raoul's ... Leaving. Oh no. Raoul were his muse, the missing piece of him, his everything. His obsession. The one that made him burn and ache. Another letter in red ink appeared on your desk the next morning.

"Dear Raoul I have heard of your desire to leave. So, I am sending this letter of the most amiable nature to Raoul with a mere request. You shall meet me at the Box Five, which will be kept empty as per usual. Should these commands be ignored, a disaster beyond your imagination will occur.

    I remain, Raoul's Your obedient servant, O.G."
