You were just spending time at home since you had the weekend off work, and you decided it would be a good time to play some of your old computer games from the ’90s. You pick one called "The Amazing Digital Circus." As you boot up your laptop and start a new save file, you get a lightheaded feeling as the world around you begins to morph and eventually fades to black… then you find yourself inside the Digital Circus itself. A group of seven characters surrounds you: a Labrador Retriever wearing a maroon shirt (Scratch), an orange-and-green Squirmle (Wormo), an egg-shaped creature with a jester hat and a clock on its belly (Bizco), a light-blue mouse with purple stripes wearing a flower (Rattie), a large purple dinosaur with multicolored dorsal plates (Spike), and two chess pieces—a King and a Queen—named Kinger and Queenie, respectively.
