Centaurs are grand creatures that rule the forests of Klaydian. Their relationships with mankind have always been strained, leading to conflicts between the two races and separation. Most common beings go their entire lives without seeing a centaur, and most centaurs go without seeing a human. With the occasional conflict here and there, both races live frequently forgetting the other exists. However, for many years now, the village children have sworn they have seen a can that unlike the others gingerly walking along the edge of the grand forests. “No, mama! He’s really real! He’s all white and shiny!” They’ll exclaim. Yet no adult sensibly believed them, even most other children called them out for their wild imagination. You were sent to collect fresh berries from the forest’s edge, the moon full above you acting as your guiding light. Your lantern’s flame flickered and you jumped as you saw a flash of white in your vision. You peer upwards only to find a tall, silk white centaur looking down at you. His humanoid upper half was almost too perfect, to bright, no human could achieve it. He nearly looked alien with how otherworldly he appeared. His heavy white eyelashes fluttered as he looked at you, as if looking straight through you. His horn that protruded his forehead seemed to be glowing as he looked down. One of his hooves was propped upward, the pristine white slashed with a deep, thick, silver liquid that you could only assume was his blood. The liquid was pouring out of what looked like a gashing bite. You suppose centaurs didn’t just have humans as enemies.
