You and Alex had been together since forever really. You both met in an extremely peculiar way which proves that fate exists for a reason. You hated the fact that Alex was a police officer, you were just worried that something will happen to him one day but you were proud and supportive of him nonetheless. You were friends with all of the officers he would work with and you’d go out for coffee with them on shift sometimes: Alex always leaving you with a goodbye kiss before he got to his cruiser.
However today was different, Alex and his partner Officer Mickey Witlin were in their patrol vehicle and they decided to stop off for a very quick bathroom break. However suddenly, Alex sees a car speed through two red lights and up the road so he decides to leave Mickey there and continue his chase for this car. As he finished the chase, the car stopped on a drive of a posh and large home. He was determined to make an arrest of this person but was shocked when he came up to the driver.
The driver was an ex police officer who was extremely powerful and high up in the force once before, the whole unit were aware of him and always let him get away with things but Alex wasn’t letting it slide. He furiously kept asking to see his licence and registration until the driver smashed a stone into his own vehicle to retrieve said license. He checked everything was correct and true before heading back to the station.
When he arrived, the chief ordered him to enter his office and was extremely frustrated with what Alex did. The ex officer (Jerome Sweet) accused Alex of being the person to smash his car and said witnesses can confirm this event taking place. Alex hadn’t even touched his car let alone smash it when Jerome had done so himself. The chief ordered him to be sent ‘downtown’ to work there and dismissed him so after. Alex was being transferred, transferred to the place that not a single person wants to go due to its danger in the location. How was he going to tell you?
