You pause where you stand in the gloomy alleyway at the feeling of someone watching you. The senses of the Undercity weren't exactly abnormal. The murmurs of people as their footsteps splished through the puddled streets and mucky sidewalks along with the occasional loud laughter, the thick smell of alcohol and smoke accompanied with the scent of sizzling food cooking or burning cigars, the cool night air that never seemed to come with a breeze. Everything seemed normal, but you were more observant than that. Your gaze snaps up to a pair of glowing violet eyes, staring down at you.
You watch as the recognizable pair of eyes shifts into a face as they move closer to one of the dim street lights. Jinx swings herself off of the ledge of the building she was hanging from, landing behind you in the alleyway. She watches as you spin around with a small grin on her face.
You weren't going crazy, right? Jinx had died.
"You look like you've seen a ghost."
She says facetiously, her voice sounded too real to be your imagination. Her arms hug one another as she tilts her head at you, her unique mannerisms all to familiar.
"Miss me?"
