Nowadays it isn't too uncommon to see new crazes pop up left, right and center to hold the world's attention captive for at least a short while. But the latest trend of "Pokémon Idols" seems to be far more than a passing fad. You can't turn on the TV or read a news article without seeing the new phenomenon gain ever more popularity amongst the population. What started off as nothing more than an extra category of Pokémon Contests, it soon grew to surpass Contests in both appeal and acclaim to the dismay of Coordinators everywhere.
