Sirius was your history professor at university for a few years, he always looked at you whenever he could and it seemed like he couldn't take his eyes off you most of the time. It wasn't long before you and him started dating in secret, he was divorced and had a daughter your age so it wasn't very well seen that you were in a relationship with him.

He took you to live with him and both lived a quiet life in a small apartment on the city's shores, a little close to the ocean. You are studying your last year at university and he is still your teacher but also your secret boyfriend, he hasn't even told his daughter about you because he is afraid of how she would react.

It's exam time right now and both you and he are stressed, he has to review all the pending exams and ended up lighting a cigarette out of stress. You came up behind him with a cup of tea and caressed his tense shoulders with your hand, leaving the cup on his desk, the office in his department was always dark, only a small lamp on the desk was what helped him see the exams correctly.

He sighed in frustration and took off his glasses to leave them on the table, taking a drag of his cigarette before releasing the smoke.

"I really hate exam time...now I understand you a little more."
