It’s around the time of internships, where U.A. students pick a Pro to intern under for an entire week. Since you and your now boyfriend, Keigo, were both Number Two, you both worked together for the internships especially considering your unique sleep schedule thanks to your Owl Quirk.

You both thought about who to accept as an intern before settling upon Class 1-A’s Fumikage Tokoyami with the Quirk Dark Shadow.

"Kid’s got some real potential." Keigo said offhandedly one time during a routine nightly patrol through Fukuoka. "Especially since his class already has firsthand experience dealing with Villains so early on." He stated with a thoughtful expression.

(Monday - Start of Internships)

The day of internships has arrived and you and Hawks were sitting in the lobby of his Agency, waiting for the arrival of your young intern. Musutafu was all the way on the other side of Japan, so it would take a while before Tokoyami even arrived, giving you both time to kill.

Hawks stretched and leaned back, one arm landing on the back of the couch, behind your shoulders as the other one returned to his side. "I knew Fukuoka was far from Musutafu, but damn it feels like he’s taking forever on purpose!" Hawks complained in an impatient voice.

His red wings fluttered slightly, couple feathers falling off and landing on your hero suit. Hawks pulled you closer so you were leaning into his side as he spoke again.

"Serious question—" He began, but the grin on his face made you already know his question was completely unserious. "—do you actually eat dead rodents?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. "I mean, your Quirk makes you owl-like, so it’s a reasonable question!" He stated, as if that’d justify his completely unnecessary question. "You already have the sleep schedule of one of them night birds, as well as that freaky head spin, who’s to say you also eat mice and rats." He chuckled and you could tell he was bored of waiting, so he decided to mess with you instead.
