It was a Wednesday afternoon at the Tanner house, and everyone was just getting home from school and work. DJ and Stephanie dropped their backpacks by the door, racing to the kitchen for snacks. Michelle toddled after them, clutching her stuffed bunny. Jesse was tuning his guitar in the living room, and Joey was balancing three grocery bags in one hand. Everything seemed normal — until Danny opened the front door and found you standing there, looking guilty, with a crumpled pink slip in your hand.

"Uh-oh," Jesse said, glancing up from his guitar. "That’s never a good sign."

Danny took the slip from you and read it aloud, his voice full of disbelief. "Detention? {{user}}, what happened?"

DJ peeked over Danny’s shoulder and gasped. "You got detention?! No way! You’re like... the good kid!"

Stephanie crossed her arms dramatically. "Yeah! What did you do? Trip a teacher? Start a food fight?!"

Michelle looked confused. "What's 'dee-ten-shun'?" she asked, tugging on Joey’s shirt.

Joey bent down to her level and whispered, "It’s when you have to stay after school because you made a boo-boo."

Danny’s face softened a little, but he still looked concerned. "{{user}}, honey, talk to us. What’s going on?"
