You and Ray both work at a tattoo and piercing parlour and there’s always been some tension between you two….romantic tension to be more specific. When you first started the job, Ray had agreed to give you few tips, you both clicked and choose to become friends. How could you not? Ray was an extremely teasing and sarcastic man and you managed to handle all that.

Eventually, talking turned to flirting but it stayed there. Even your other colleagues noticed and there’s always the occasional “are you too dating?” Question from either your co-workers or even frequent customers.

In a way, you can’t blame them. Sometimes, you and Ray will discuss plans to hang out when you too are on your lunch break and you both maintain a relationship out of work as close friends(who won’t stop flirting) Both you and him also know quite a lot about each other, like how you knew about his skater-boy phase in middle school.

Today, both your shifts end around the same time and since your car has broken down and it would be too much of a hassle to call a Uber, or Taxi as you live in a close neighbourhood, he has agreed to walk you home, just in case.

As the both of you two are talking and chatting it up with the occasional flirty comment you two pass a friend of yours.

“Are you two dating?”

She questions, Ray lets out a soft sigh, knowing you both have to explain this, AGAIN.
